‘Twice Rescued’: from Past to Future. Online lecture by Pushkin State Museum conservator Daria Babich

Online lecture by Pushkin State Museum conservator Daria Babich was held on the 24th of June.

The lecture for students of several colleges in India — Anna Adarsh College for Women, Presidency college, Stella Maris college and Bangalore University — gave insight into the making of the ‘Twice Rescued’ exhibition, the pieces it features, and the work put into their restoration.

The exhibition ‘Twice Rescued’, organized by the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts together with the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Chennai and dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, features photographs showing the results of many years of conservators' work with art objects damaged during the Second World War and transferred to Russia.
